Robert Bathurst
Alex is played by Robert Bathurst, best known for his role
as David Marsden in the hit ITV series Cold Feet. Other TV
roles include Mark Taylor in Joking Apart, Mark Thatcher in
Coup! and the Prime Minister in My Dad's The Prime Minister.
West End stage performances include Three Sisters alongside
Kristin Scott-Thomas and Hedda Gabbler with Francesca Annis.
Robert recently appeared with Richard Wilson in Whipping It Up

Phelim McDermott – Director
Phelim is the Artistic Director of Improbable Theatre. He co-directed Shockheaded Peter which has played to theatres across the world, including Broadway and the West End and won the 2002 Olivier award for Best Entertainment. His production of Theatre of Blood was performed at the National Theatre in 2005, starring Jim Broadbent. In 2007 he directed Phillip Glass’ opera about Gandhi, Satyagraha: MK Gandhi for the ENO. Eleanor Lloyd – Producer
Eleanor has worked at the Gate and Royal Court Theatres and is now a freelance producer. Her work includes Missing Persons: Four Tragedies and Roy Keane which, following success at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival transferred to Trafalgar Studios in the West End. She was the Associate Producer on Members Only with Robert Bathurst in spring 2006. Eleanor was awarded a Society of London Theatre Producers’ Bursary in 2005. Visit Eleanor's site

Fifty Nine Productions is a film and new media production company which specialises in film making and integrating the moving image into live performance. Recent productions include Black Watch for the National Theatre of Scotland,  Waves and Attempts on Her Life for the National Theatre, Satyagraha for the English National Opera / Metropolitan Opera New York, and Seven Deadly Sins for the Royal Ballet.
